Who’s behind LGADFS?

Hello, I’m Zoe – nice to meet you 😊.

I’ve quit, packed up, sold up and spent the last year on my bike living life in the slow lane. The slow lane to where? Good question…

In February 2018 I started with a tour across the southern states of the US – with Matt @edwardsgoes – from Florida, heading to San Diego, roughly following the Adventure Cycling Association’s Southern Tier route East to West. Thanks to visas and thoughts on the weather further down the road we gave ourselves 3 months to do this and hoped by the end we may almost know what we were doing.

(Nope. We still have no idea 😉)

After the States we tackled Mexico (via the Baja Peninsula) and followed that with Central America — that’s Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. A sailing trip got us around the Darien Gap and into Colombia, South America. We LOVED Colombia and so spent 2.5 months cycling around, house/dog-sitting and meeting the incredible locals, subjecting them to our questionable Spanish, before heading into fabulous Ecuador. Two months later and I’ve headed back to Blighty to regroup and consider my Next Big Adventure…

I’ve been inspired by MANY other people who are doing fun, interesting things around the world, be that cycling, running, overlanding and everything else. Basically, I love going to incredible places, making new friends and doing fun stuff – WHATEVER that may be!

Hope you enjoy the blog, get in touch if you’ve got any questions or comments, I love to hear from you!

Love, me x
